In time back, when all user éramos of Mac OS 9,0, the creation of a disc of starting for our system seemed a easy task but, nowadays, with Mac OS X, has become an authentic headache, in short, that is what we believed until discovering to BootCD.

BootCD is an application cocoa, able to create a disc image, list for the recording of a disc of starting Mac OS X, with a totally functional Finder and Dock, to which we will be able to add our preferred applications, and among others, utilities to repair to the disc like the Drive X or others.

BootCD creates a disc image that is based on the state of your system, that is to say, with all the possible updates made and nonavailable from the CD of original installation of your system. But, we remembered that only one is a mini system that does not allow to make work all your applications, except for that you will include in the CD of starting just removed from the furnace.

Really, one is a species of medicine kit of urgencies, able to repair, to formatear and to even make new partitions in your system, thanks to Drive X and the presence of a terminal, with which you will be able theoretically to make any feat, that yes you are an expert of the line of commands.

The hard boot a few minutes but once ready, BootCD works perfectly and it will give access you to all the utilities that you have added to the CD, available through Dock; to read kindly the ReadMe file will not be others
